Let me tell you about Will. I’ve know him all my life. He was always a yucky boy, putting worms in my lunch pail and chasing me around the corral throwing hay in my hair. Then one day when we were in junior high, he started acting different. Nice, almost. At least he stopped calling me freckle face. By the time we reached high school, I had made an unexpected discovery. Will was pretty awesome.
Yeah, eyes as green as a forest of trees. Hair like the sun. And my gosh, he liked me. Something weird happens now when we’re together. He only teases me a little. And he tells me I look nice when I braid my hair. Sometimes he’s a bit bossy, tries to tell me who I should date, stuff like that. In a way, that’s kind of sweet. I don’t listen to him, of course.
Will does a lot of nice things for people. When you read my story, you’ll see what I mean.
This isn’t a very good likeness of Will, but he hates having his picture taken so I had to make one. His eyes are green instead of blue.
I think I might love him.
I think you’ll like Will.
